When google fiber came to my neighborhood in Mesa I was thrilled, I had been waiting on fiber, I signed up immediately. The technician went into my house without knocking when he was installing me, and was very disrespectful. Once we were actually installed, we noticed we were getting an outage nearly twice a day, always seemed to happen right when we needed it most. Then after we had been with them they raised our price even though they said they wouldn’t. Luckily, a really nice AT&T rep came and knocked on our door and told us we had AT&T fiber available. We switched again, even got two months for free, and haven’t had a single issue. If you have a choice, stay away from google fiber
Google Fiber impresses with its high speeds and easy setup. However, customer service is hit-or-miss, and service availability is limited to certain cities. Strong on speed, but room for improvement elsewhere. 3 out of 5 stars.
We just got it today and I’ve been stuck in front of my laptop for the last few hours. It’s unbelievable. I’m probably not going to leave the house.
