My modem just randomly turned on its public hotspot feature and I ended up with numerous unknown devices connected to my network. Getting ahold of a live agent is awful and their “assistant” is completely useless. I finally got the setting turned off, changed the router password and guess what? Random devices are connecting again. If you value privacy and safety, do not get Xfinity.
XFINITY offers reliable internet speeds and a variety of package options. However, customer service experiences can vary, with long wait times and occasional difficulty resolving issues. Pricing could be more transparent, as promotional rates can lead to significant increases later. Overall, satisfactory service with potential for improvement.
It's been slow this the past week. Many times it will randomly freeze up and kick me offline.
Just 4 months into a 2 year deal Comcast jacked up the "guaranteed" price. Even worse, I was warned by others this would happen so before signing up I had two different Comcast employees verify that the price would not change for 2 years. When I called to complain they offered an absurd one time credit for $5. They are lying scum, no other way to judge them.
Comcast XFINITY is the absolute worst with the most incompetent employees. You reschedule my 1st appointment without calling me and then you think it’s okay to move the appointment 10 days out during the middle of the day when no one can be at home ?
