As the AT&T U-verse outage continues for another day users are outraged by AT&T’s attempt at downplaying the situation. Internet, TV and phone services remain offline.
It is being reported that the issue was caused by a software update and resulting DHCP issues. AT&T has issued the following statement on Facebook.
The issue impacting some U-verse subscribers has been tracked back to a software upgrade. We continue to work to determine when service will be completely restored. Our continued apologies for the inconvenience.
Users are less than impressed by the AT&T’s response and handling of the issue. Many expected better from one of the nations largest telecom providers.
